Mira’s Vision — Fulfillment and engagement for all corporate teams and individuals.

Professional Biography:

Mira Panek is an executive coach, leadership development expert, and co-founder of the Inspired Action Network. She is committed to helping high-performing people, teams and organizations accelerate their success and leverage their full power and potential.

As a speaker, coach and facilitator, Mira dedicates her professional practice to the hundreds of millions of people who are suffering in organizations; resigned to “the way things are around here,” feeling stressed, burned out and detached from the organizational vision. Her mission is to have a positive impact on the quality of their lives and to transform organizational culture to a new paradigm grounded in purpose, possibility, and meaning.

Mira is a graduate of the University of Washington, and has been a student and practitioner of transformational leadership since 2009. Her post-graduate education includes:

  • Certified coach training through the world-renowned Newfield Network
  • Leadership development training in the somatic-based Art of Leadership Mastery program at the Institute for Embodied Wisdom in Ojai, California
  • Training in executive and team coaching through the Institute for Generative Leadership in Boulder, Colorado.

Mira holds an ACC credential from the International Coach Federation, and is also a certified facilitator of SOARTM, a cohort-based, leadership development program for organizations that produces breakthrough results in engagement, teamwork, and productivity.

Personal Journey:

Born in San Francisco and raised in Seattle, Mira considers herself a Northwest native. Although she has made her home on the east coast for the past two decades, Mira visits the west coast as often as possible and still harbors a deep fondness for the west coast ‘vibe’.

Mira moved to New York City in 1997 to pursue a career opportunity with a multinational media and entertainment company. Since then, she has worked with global corporations, think tanks, governments, non-profits, start-ups, and retail clients, giving her a broad perspective and deep insight into organizational structures and processes.

As a lifelong athlete and kinesthetic learner, Mira was a natural when introduced to the somatic approach to leadership development. This framework made intuitive sense to her, as Mira already had a grounded understanding of how the body can serve as a powerful access point for new learning that complements intellectual concepts and information.

Mira regards leadership as a performance art, and approaches developing leaders from that perspective: that one must practice ‘doing’ the conversational and relational acts of leadership in order to become a competent leader and to embody leadership as part of one’s natural self expression. It is within this context that Mira approaches her coaching and facilitation work, relying heavily on practices and experiential learning to help her clients and their teams change the way they live, lead, work and communicate at a fundamental level.

Mira currently makes her home in the Washington, DC metro area, with her husband and family. She is a recreational triathlete and has completed multiple Ironman 70.3 races.
